The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited practices and monstrous changes echo through the shadows." The storyline presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret sect.
The questline centers on "strange tests and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Transformations
The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
